Outline Butterfly for Bryan Adams

20^th July 2007, Doncaster, UK – Bryan Adams has been added to the excellent list of references that the Outlinearray, manufactured in Brescia, has been collecting at a non-stop rate over the last few years.

On Friday 20^th July at Doncaster’s “Keepmoat” Stadium, a venue with a capacity of 15,000, Britannia Row used 56 Butterfly Hi-packs for the Canadian singer.

20+20 CDH 483 Hi-packs for FOH and 8+8 CDH 483 on “side” coverage. All backed up by 16 Subtech 218 subwoofers, amplified by Series T power amps and controlled by Genius 26 processors, also by Outline.

On this occasion - as has been said up until now by the most authoritative UK system engineers and PA men - the Butterfly’s reproduction of the Vancouver rocker’s vocals was well balanced and natural, with a dynamic headroom that is hard to beat among loudspeaker systems that can be compared with the Italian-made line array as far as dimensions are concerned, but also heavier, bulkier systems, as has been demonstrated on several occasions.

July 2007 was a busy month for Britannia Row’s Butterfly systems; first of all the concert in memory of Lady Diana at Wembley Stadium then – seven days later in the same venue – the huge “Live Earth” concert organized by ex US vice-president Al Gore as a tribute to Planet Earth. In the same stadium, on July 8^th, the system also contributed to the success of Metallica’s concert before thousands of fans.

20 luglio 2007, Doncaster, UK – Anche Bryan Adams si aggiunge alla lista delle referenze eccellenti che l’Outlinearray prodotto a Brescia sta collezionando senza sosta da alcuni anni a questa parte.

Venerdì 20 luglio al “Keepmoat” Stadium di Doncaster, struttura capace di 15000 posti, Britannia Row ha utilizzato 56 Hi-pack Butterfly per il cantante canadese. 20+20 moduli CDH 483 Hi-pack per il FOH e 8+8 moduli CDH 483 per il “side”. Il tutto supportato da 16 subwoofer Subtech 218, amplificato dai finali di potenza serie T e controllato dai processori Genius 26, sempre Outline.

Anche in quest’occasione - in linea con quanto finora dichiarato dai più autorevoli ‘system engineer’ e ‘pa men’ inglesi - la riproduzione di Butterfly per quanto concerne la gamma vocale del rocker di Vancouver si è rivelata del tutto equilibrata e naturale, con una riserva ‘dinamica’ difficilmente eguagliabile fra i sistemi di altoparlanti paragonabili per dimensioni al line array ‘made-in-Italy’ ma anche rispetto a sistemi più pesanti e ingombranti, come più volte è stato dimostrato.

Luglio 2007 è stato un mese fitto di impegni per il Butterfly di Britannia Row; primo fra tutti il concerto in memoria di Lady Diana allo Stadio di Wembley e - sette giorni dopo nel medesimo luogo - il concerto-tributo “Live Earth” organizzato dall’ex vice presidente americano Al Gore quale omaggio al Pianeta Terra. Nel medesimo stadio il giorno 8 di luglio lo stesso impianto contribuiva anche al successo dei “Metallica” in concerto, davanti a migliaia di fan.
