From April 5^th to May 9^th 2008, some of Italy’s most elegant theatres hosted the “Anello Mancante Tour”, by Carmen Consoli, a talented Sicilian singer/songwriter, who on this unique occasion staged an exciting “vocals and guitar” show.

A total of sixteen Outline Butterfly CDH 483 Hi-packs and four Outline Subtech 218 SP amplified the notes of her “unforgettable intimate show for a few lucky spectators” – as the press release reports.

Four Outline H.A.R.D. 115 SP – of which three were for Carmen – were used as stage monitors.

As well as the “vocals and guitar”, the set design of the “Anello Mancante Tour” helped symbolize its simplicity. In fact, it was essential, based on three elements: a chair, a lamp and a photo of actress Anna Magnani, to which the singer is very attached. It should be remembered that Carmen Consoli wrote a song for the latest album by Adriano Celentano, entitled precisely “Anna Magnani”: a very beautiful intense song; one of the songstresses characteristics is the search for a true poetic quality in her lyrics.

The most important Italian theatres hosting the show included the Arcimboldi Theatre (Milan), Ponchielli Theatre (Cremona), Verdi Theatre (Florence), Paganini Auditorium (Parma), Parco Della Musica Auditorium (Rome). The “Anello Mancante Tour” visited the entire country, from the Trent region to Sicily. 

The rental company was Blackout s.r.l. of Vasto (Chieti), a firm with an Outline Butterfly stock comprising sixteen CDH 483 Hi-Packs and eight Subtech 218 SP, and the system was under the control of William Antico (system engineer) and Gianluca Vaccaro (FOH engineer).

Consoli has just ended a mini-tour in the United States - Boston, New York and Washington D.C. - which had “House Full” signs up and met with a flattering review from the New York Times, which described the artist as a ”a magnificent combination of a rocker and an intellectual''.

A sonorizzare “L’Anello Mancante Tour” di Carmen Consoli era un ‘Butterfly’ dell’Outline

Dal 5 aprile al 9 maggio 2008, all’interno dei teatri più eleganti d’Italia si è svolto “L’Anello Mancante Tour”, il tour della Carmen Consoli, talentuosa cantautrice siciliana che in questa inedita occasione ha fatto sfoggio unicamente di “voce e chitarre”.

In totale 16 moduli Outline Butterfly CDH 483 Hi-pack e 4 Outline Subtech 218 SP amplificavano le note di “uno spettacolo intimista e indimenticabile per pochi fortunati spettatori” – come cita il comunicato ufficiale.

Quattro Outline H.A.R.D. 115 SP – di cui tre per Carmen – fungevano da stage monitor.

Oltre alla sola “voce e chitarra” anche la scenografia de “L’Anello Mancante Tour” concorreva a simboleggiarne la semplicità. Era infatti essenziale, basata su tre elementi: una sedia, un lampadario e la foto dell’attrice Anna Magnani, alla quale la cantante si sente molto legata. Carmen Consoli, va ricordato, ha scritto un pezzo per l’ultimo album di Adriano Celentano, proprio dal titolo “Anna Magnani”: un brano molto bello e intenso; come è noto la particolarità della cantante è la ricercatezza assoluta della poeticità nel testo.

Fra i teatri più importanti d’Italia toccati da questo spettacolo si segnalano: il Teatro degli Arcimboldi (Milano), il Teatro Ponchielli (Cremona), il Teatro Verdi (Firenze), l’Auditorium Paganini (Parma), l’Auditorium Parco della Musica (Roma). “L’Anello Mancante Tour” ha comunque raggiunto l’intero paese, dal Trentino alla Sicilia. 

Il service che ha curato l’operazione è la Blackout s.r.l. di Vasto (CH), azienda in possesso di un sistema Outline Butterfly composto da 16 moduli CDH 483 Hi-Pack e 8 Subtech 218 SP; l’impianto è stato gestito dai tecnici William Antico (system engineer) e Gianluca Vaccaro (fonico FOH).

La Consoli ha appena concluso un mini-tour negli Stati Uniti - Boston, New York, Washington D.C. - dove ha registrato il “tutto esaurito” riscuotendo critiche lusinghiere anche dal New York Times, che l'ha definita "la magnifica combinazione tra una rocker e un'intellettuale''.
