ET Live gets Outlined

Butterfly and Mini-COM.P.A.S.S. at ET Live

ET Live – held during the LDI Show (Orlando, Florida, 12/18 November 2007) – is an event thought up to allow visitors to the expo to hear pro loudspeaker systems in “real” conditions, for a correct assessment of their performance.

In a large outdoor area at this year’s edition (16/18 November), six line arrays manufactured by important European and US companies will be put through their paces. In particular, some of these systems are considered among the most sophisticated on the world market from a technical point of view, which is also borne out by the prestige events on which they are regularly used.

Outline will take part in ET Live with two line arrays it manufactures: its well-known Butterfly (4x8”+ 1x3”), the top of the range model by the Italian manufacturer, which has numerous patents and international patent applications, and the new compact Mini-COM.P.A.S.S. (4x5” + 2x1.75”), the first with adjustable horizontal directivity with sixteen different combinations, self-powered and fitted with on-board DSP.

The Butterfly rig will be used along with Outline Subtech 218 subwoofers, and the entire set-up powered by the new T7 power amplifiers (one rack unit each and weighing in at just 12 kg), both Outline products.

ET Live gets Outlined

Butterfly e Mini-COM.P.A.S.S. suoneranno a ET Live

ET Live - nel contesto di LDI Show (Orlando, Florida, 12/18 novembre 2007) - è un evento ideato per consentire ai visitatori della fiera l’ascolto in condizioni ‘reali’ di sistemi di altoparlanti professionali, per una corretta valutazione delle loro prestazioni.

Nell’edizione di quest’anno (16/18 novembre) in un grande spazio all’aperto suoneranno 6 line array, costruiti da importanti ‘pro audio manufacturer’ sia europei sia americani. In particolare alcuni tra questi sistemi vengono considerati tra i più raffinati sul mercato mondiale, sia dal punto di vista tecnologico sia per il prestigio degli eventi nei quali vengono regolarmente impiegati.

Outline sarà presente a ET Live con due 2 line array di sua produzione: il noto Butterfly (4x8”; 1x3”), modello di punta del fabbricante italiano, forte di numerosi brevetti e richieste di brevetto internazionali, e il nuovo compatto Mini-COM.P.A.S.S. (4x5”; 2x1,75”), il primo a direttività orizzontale regolabile con 16 differenti combinazioni, auto-amplificato e munito di DSP.

Butterfly sarà abbinato ai subwoofer Outline Subtech 218, e il tutto pilotato dai nuovi finali T7 a una sola unità rack e 12 kg di peso, sempre della casa.
