Kwangjoo City, Korea – an Outline Butterfly line array made up of 16 Hi-Pack C.D.H. 483 modules and four Low-Pack C.D.L. 1815 was recently installed in one of the largest cathedrals in South Korea – the Kwangjoo Gyeojassi (Mustard seed) Presbyterian church –, an enormous 8,300 square metre building able to seat 3,000, which is attended by over 15,000 persons every week.

The Cathedral was inaugurated with the participation of the country’s highest religious authorities.

The sound system was powered and controlled by Outline's Series T  PWM amps and DSP Genius 6.

Thanks to Butterfly’s directivity, speech intelligibility in the large cathedral is excellent, in spite of its unfavourable reverb times.

The line array was impeccably installed by Kong Gan Electronic Co. Ltd. of Seoul, (www.konggan.com), Outline’s South Korean distributor, who has specialized for years in installations in places of worship.

Kwangjoo city, Korea – un line array Outline Butterfly composto da 16 moduli Hi-Pack C.D.H. 483 e 4 moduli Lo-Pack C.D.L. 1815 è stato recentemente installato in una tra le più grandi cattedrali della Korea del Sud – Kwangjoo Gyeojassi (Mustard seed) Presbyterian church –, un’enorme struttura di 8300 metri quadrati di superficie capace di accogliere 3000 persone sedute che settimanalmente raggiungono il numero di oltre 15.000.

La Cattedrale è stata inaugurata alla presenza delle massime autorità ecclesiastiche del Paese.

Per amplificare l’impianto sono stati utilizzati finali a tecnologia PWM Outline serie T e DSP Genius 6.

Grazie alle caratteristiche di direttività di Butterfly l’intelligibilità del parlato all’interno della grande basilica ha raggiunto livelli di eccellenza nonostante l’alto tempo di riverberazione sfavorevole.

L’installazione del line array è stata eseguita a regola d’arte dalla Kong Gan Electronic Co. Ltd. di Seoul, (www.konggan.com), azienda distributrice dei prodotti Outline per la Korea del Sud e che da anni si è specializzata nelle installazioni in strutture ecclesiastiche.
