Outline is pleased to inform you that it is exhibiting at the “Showway” International Pro Audio and Lighting expo being held in Bergamo from February 24th to 26th 2008.
Like the majority of the members of the APIAS (Association of Italian Manufacturers for the Entertainment Industry), the Brescia company announces that it will support this international trade show, highlighting to the utmost its loudspeaker systems and new products being launched in 2008.
During the year, Outline will only take part in Showway and (as is the case with almost all the aforementioned APIAS members and other important firms in the sector) will not participate in any other Italian trade expos.
As well as showcasing the entire range of Outline products, the 100 square metre stand will also host the presentation of the self-powered versions of the new compact DVS 12 and DVS 15 systems, high-performance units at their world expo debut.
Recent introductions will include the new Kanguro 2008 system (“the speaker within a speaker”), the previous version of which won a “Plasa Award for Product Excellence” and (like its predecessor) is able to ensure 130 db SPL of top-end audio reproduction. But everything can now be “customized”, thanks to the possibility of PC control via an “Ethernet port”. Intuitive software – written as always by Outline – allows countless complex operations to be carried out and is supplied as standard with every Kanguro system.
At Bergamo, in the large acoustically treated conference hall, it will be possible to listen to both Outline’s line-array systems - the Butterfly and the mini-COM.P.A.S.S. The directivity of the latter is adjustable from 60° to 150°, making it the only compact VLA at international level to have such a feature.
As many people probably know, real “high fidelity” in sound reinforcement of any genre (including classical music), ‘compact lightness’ and exceptional SPL have enabled Butterfly to win the favour of some of the world’s most important rental companies; in the course of 2008, events and concerts to be held (on which at present no advance news can be given) promise to be very high profile as far as international prestige is concerned.
For the others (rental firms, FOH/System engineers, installers, etc.) who haven’t yet had the possibility of hearing the loudspeaker system in question, Outline believes Showway 2008 to be an interesting opportunity.

Outline a Showway 2008
Outline informa della sua partecipazione alla Fiera Internazionale Pro Audio and Lighting “Showway” che si svolgerà a Bergamo dal 24 al 26 febbraio 2008.
Così come la maggioranza dei membri APIAS (Associazione Italiana Produttori ed Importatori di apparecchiature per lo spettacolo) l’azienda di Brescia rende noto che supporterà questa manifestazione internazionale dando il massimo del rilievo ai propri sistemi di altoparlanti ed alle novità da presentare nel 2008.
Nel corso dell’anno Outline parteciperà unicamente a Showway e non sarà presente (così come la quasi totalità dei suddetti membri APIAS e di altre importanti aziende del settore) ad alcuna altra manifestazione fieristica di settore italiana.
All’interno dello stand di 100 metri quadrati saranno presentati, oltre all’intera produzione, i nuovi diffusori compatti DVS 12 e DVS 15 nella versione ‘self-powered’ ad elevate prestazioni, in anteprima mondiale.
Fra le ultime recenti introduzioni vi sarà anche il nuovo sistema Kanguro 2008 (“la cassa nella cassa”), già vincitore del “Plasa Award for Product Excellence” e capace, come per la versione precedente, di una riproduzione ‘hi-end’ a 130 db SPL. Ma ora il tutto è “personalizzabile” in quanto gestibile da PC tramite “Ethernet port”. Un software intuitivo – e scritto come sempre in Outline – consente una moltitudine di operazioni complesse e viene fornito di serie insieme al Kanguro.
Ma a Bergamo, nella grande sala congressi acusticamente trattata, sarà possibile ascoltare ambedue gli impianti line-array dell’Outline, il Butterfly e il mini-COM.P.A.S.S. (quest’ultimo a direttività regolabile da 60 a 150°, l’unico fra i compact VLA sul piano internazionale a beneficiare di tale prerogativa).
Come probabilmente è noto a molti, la reale “alta fedeltà” nella riproduzione acustica di qualunque genere (musica classica compresa), la ‘compatta leggerezza’ e insieme un SPL eccezionale hanno permesso a Butterfly di conquistare la preferenza di alcune tra le più importanti ‘rental company’ del mondo; anche nel corso del 2008 gli eventi e i concerti in programma, di cui per ora non è possibile fornire anticipazioni, si preannunciano altisonanti quanto a prestigio internazionale.
Per coloro i quali (service, Foh/System engineer, installatori) non avessero ancora avuto la possibilità di ascoltare il sistema d’altoparlanti in questione Outline ritiene quella di Showway 2008 un’interessante opportunità.
Outline ricorda che è possibile ottenere facilmente il badge di ingresso gratuito a Showway (valido per i tre giorni della manifestazione).
